A study out yesterday shows industry regulators have known for years that Roundup, the world’s best-selling herbicide, causes birth defects. For those who don’t care that this affects poor people working in our fields, think again.
With “Roundup-Ready” crops, the product is sprayed on our grains, and if you eat food, you are likely to be eating Roundup. Our animals eat Roundup Ready grains, and so do we.
Corporate media and our unconscionably corrupt government have covered this up.
We pointed out long ago that when a female chemist at the EPA tried to warn the public that herbicides containing dioxins are carcinogens, she lost her job. Monsanto is more powerful than all of the government scientists put together — they did the study the EPA accepted, saying, in effect, you can sprinkle the stuff on your cereal with no problem.
